By our standard we use 100% American tanned leather. Most boots sold are made with 2oz leather and a paper liner; ours are made with 5.5-6.5oz leather that last 8x of long in addition to the 6oz leather boot liner. In all a single boot has anywhere from 10-12ox of leather packed in. This durability shows with most of our clients having their boots last decades.

After your fitting, it typically takes 50 hours to make your boots as they are completely handcrafted. We prioritize quality and comfort, so the wait ensures a perfect final product.

Our boots start at $3,450, reflecting the time, skill, and materials involved. Many customers find they last decades and the relief from foot pain and the comfort they gain make it a valuable investment in their well-being.

  • What is the Stewart Boot process?

First we meticulously measure your feet and together we deign the look of your dream boot. From there we start building the form that your boot gets built around, including building the sole. We order the leather and design the pattern onto it by hand. Once the sole is built the leather can be attached. We make the heel that also gets attached. We ensure the boot is stable and doesn't rock, as that is an ill-built heel. Then your made to meaure boot is complete.

  • No matter what shoes I wear, my feet ache at the end of the day, why?

Most people are unaware that the main cause of aching feet is due to ill-fitting shoes that allow your feet to slide back and forth in them all day. This is very subtle but your and feet are adjusting to this with each step you take. At SB we are qualified to create a boot that hugs your feet just right to pervent your feet from sliding.

  • What are the factors you address to alleviate foot pain?

    There are 5 main factors.
