We use vintage machinary that the master bootmakers of old have used for generations to create high quality boots.
Unparalleled Quality
To be competitive large boot manufactures use surfaced tanned 1.5 to 2 oz. leather. We use 3.5 to 4 oz leather. Plus we use another 3.5 oz orthepedic leather liner that wicks away sweet. We do NOT use paper. We use top grade leather tanned completly through. Many of our clients have worn their boots for over 30 years..

We spend more time designing, cutting and shaping your heel than major manufactures spend making your entire boot. Next time you are choosing a boot or shoe... set the heel flat on a flat surface. Now notice the sole... There will be a gap between the sole and the ground, it is not level with the heel. It has a gap. This gap causes sole slap.... Meaning your sole slaps the ground with each step you take.
We spend extra time to ensure your heel and sole are level with each other, and level with the ground. This is essential for maximum comfort.
Another componet of unbridled comfort is your heel height. Each person has a unique heel height where their posture, gait, and comfort align. Often 1/16th of an inch, is the difference between an OK fit and a beyond comfortable fit. Enjoying your walk in lieu of enduring your walk.
The back shape of your heel, called undersling, must conform to your paticular gait, posture, and walking speed. The heel is critical for your comfort. This encompases, levelness with the sole, height, undersling, shape, length of heel, position, and location under the foot.
By the way we designed a special heel for James Dean when starring in the movid "Giant"... he wanted to look taller.
