OUR STORY
Established in 1940 Stewart Boot’s legacy is rooted in the old west, from Old Western Hollywood to upholding that original boot-making tradition.
The Stewart Boot idea was born in Leon, Mexico, founded by Rodney Stewart and Romero. Rodney grew up designing orthopedic shoes but more importantly believed the boot to be the best form to deliver a stable and pain-free stride. He partnered with Romero, a traditional bootmaker, where they then combined their years of expertise knowledge in order to design the perfect boot. Stewart Boot was then moved and established in Tucson in 1955. From there it was passed on to Victor Borg in the 1970’s. Victor had just quit his career as a NASA engineer but proceeded to dedicate his time to learning the craft in achieving the Stewart Boot.
During those years, there was always magic happening. Rodney was able to achieve the foundation for the perfect boot. It was stamped in Hollywood history seen on Barbara Streisand, James Dean, etc. A time where you can see an old western on the big screen and see Clint Eastwood striding along in his iconic Stewart Boot. These have stood the test of time, lasting decades and building relationships. This legacy has continued to grow and stay strong all these years due to our dedication to the craft and upholding our goal from day one- to deliver a beautiful, durable, and pain-free boot.
